The Swinging Sticks™ were invented by two friends from Germany determined to visualize what a perpetual motion machine might look like. The resulting kinetic sculpture achieves this using a blend of metal, magnets, precision sensors, and mathematical concepts derived from Chaos Theory.
This elegant creation is one of the finest kinetic motion sculptures in the world. The design is patented and trademarked. Authentic The Swinging Sticks™ are available to purchase in the USA through this official website, Amazon, and Museums. See The Swinging Sticks™ in action from this scene in the Blockbuster film Iron Man 2
The Swinging Sticks Kinetic Energy Sculpture seemingly defies gravity as the double pendulum creates a fluid, relaxing rotation designed to change speeds and direction. This high-quality, museum-style motion sculpture gives the illusion of perpetual motion designed to baffle and amaze.
